Trees topple power lines in Warren County

The cleanup has already begun in Independence Township following a storm that moved through the area.

Two people were saved from a car after live wires fell on it during the storm. Witnesses say the strong winds and rain moved through the araa quickly, but left severe damage.

The storm knocked down trees, including some that toppled power lines and resulted in hundreds of outages.

A tornado warning was issued for Warren County earlier tonight. A warning was also issued for Sussex, Hunterdon and Morris counties in Northern New Jersey, as well as Monmouth and Ocean counties.
