Weather Update: Warm and sunny; highs near 80

A cool morning will give way to a beautiful, sunny afternoon across New Jersey.

News 12 New Jersey meteorologist Dan Zarrow says high temperatures today will range in the lower to mid-80s with a slight breeze.

Zarrow says temperatures will dip again tonight, with some locations in North Jersey dropping to the lower 50s. He says this weekend brings hot 90-degree temperatures and a chance of scattered thunderstorms on Sunday and Monday.
