Today's Weather: Sunshine followed by increasing clouds

Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 20s to mid-30s this morning.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Michele Powers says you can expect to see a lot of sun in the morning, but then clouds will roll in and take over for the afternoon.

A series of low pressure areas will slide through the state over the next few days, which Powers says will mean a lot more April showers.

There are chances of rain on Thursday, as well as Friday into early Saturday.

Powers says Sunday will warm up with highs in the upper 60s, if not close to 70 degrees. April showers return once again on Monday along with cooler weather for next week.
