New York bridge set to call Jersey City home

The Willis Avenue Bridge, which once carried 70,000 cars a day between Manhattan's Upper East Side and the South Bronx, is on the move.

Chopper 12 was over the scene as tugboats helped ferry the bridge into Jersey City. The steel will be melted and recycled, and the concrete will be made into land fill.

News 12 New Jersey will be checking in with the bridge on Friday, so check back right here on News12.com.
