Robber caught on camera breaking into police chief's home

A burglar was caught on surveillance video last night apparently breaking into the home of an Ocean County police chief.

Toms River Police Chief Mike Mastronardy says he just installed the cameras two weeks ago. Police hope it's just a matter of time before someone recognizes the suspect and turns him in. The surveillance video shows the suspect's car, which is dark and possibly a Crown Victoria. The suspect shown is likely Caucasian with olive skin. He is also shown walking with a limp.
