NY police, FBI, state troopers searching LI beach

(AP) - The search goes on for possible victimsof a New York serial killer along a remote beach highway.

State and local police, including cadaver dogs and crime sceneinvestigators, are heading back to the Ocean Parkway on a barrierisland south of Long Island. Suffolk County Police CommissionerRichard Dormer says the FBI plans to supply aircraft with high-techphoto equipment to assist in the search of the vast shoreline.

An FBI spokesman says the flights will begin on Friday.

The search follows the discovery of 10 sets of human remains inrecent months near the highway. Police suspect a serial killer mayhave killed some of the victims. No suspects have been identified.
