Heavy rain and high tides cause coastal flooding in Manasquan

Heavy rains and high tides yesterday brought flooding to parts of Manasquan.

The rain coupled with the strong winds washed water onto streets, in some places up to 4 feet deep.

Fire officials say they have had to rescue a few people from stranded cars last night.

Firefighters were looking forward to the receding tides and the end to the storm so the flooding will subside.
