Meeting to fix flooding held in Little Falls

A meeting was held at the Little Falls Civic Center Tuesday evening to discuss flooding. Many of those that attended the meeting were angry, frustrated and confused over the lack of promises fulfilled.

Political leaders promised that something would be done regarding the flooding, but some at the meeting told News 12 New Jersey that they didn't believe the promises being made.

The grassroots effort to force change along the Passaic River seems to be growing, and many people are holding steadfast to their desire to remain in the community and not move. The latest flooding came nearly a month after rivers swollen from melting snow and heavy rains forced evacuations of hundreds of people and caused millions of dollars in damage in northern New Jersey.
