Rutgers football coach Kyle Flood finishes his part in investigation

Rutgers football coach Kyle Flood says his part in an ongoing investigation is now over.

Flood held a news conference Tuesday about the university's investigation into an alleged email Flood sent to a faculty member about a player's academic status. The school is working to determine if the email broke any rules.

The coach says that he fully expects to lead the team for the season opener against Norfolk State this Saturday.

Flood says that he met with school officials yesterday. "My portion of the university process ended," says Flood. "It's a university process, and I want to be completely respectful to that process."

Flood says that he is not sure when the school will announce the results of its investigation.
