Prosecutors: 2 Lightbridge Academy day care center workers instigated fights

Two day care center workers are accused of instigating fights among children at the facility.
Authorities say the pair instigated fights among children ranging in age from 4 to 6. The fights occurred at the Lightbridge Academy in Cranford last month.
Union County prosecutors say 22-year-old Erica Kenny, of Cranford, and 28-year-old Chanese White, of Roselle, are each charged with child abuse. Kenny also faces a child endangerment charge.
Investigators say Kenny recorded video of the fights with her cellphone and shared the clips with several friends through the social media platform Snapchat.
Roughly a dozen boys and girls are shown in the clips shoving each other to the ground and trying to hit each other. The children apparently didn't suffer any serious injuries.
Investigators say that Kenny made reference to the movie "Fight Club" in one of the videos.
The director of the Lightbridge Academy tells News 12 New Jersey that she views what happened as appalling and wants parents to know both women have been fired.
Kenny and White are due to appear in Union County court on Friday.
