Chris Christie tells Jimmy Fallon he might 'go nuclear' in next debate
Chris Christie says he's thinking of taking a more aggressive approach during the next Republican presidential primary debate.
The New Jersey governor tells late night TV host Jimmy Fallon Monday that he's thinking of going "nuclear" if he's relegated to the sidelines during the next GOP face-off.
Christie's return to late-night TV comes as he's been struggling to gain momentum in summer polls.
Fallon says he thinks Christie is being overshadowed by Republican front-runner Donald Trump. He says Trump is competing with Christie's tough-talking persona.
Christie had several notable clashes with his opponents during the Fox News debate and his performance was generally well-reviewed. But Trump nonetheless dominated coverage of the event.
