Cops: Rosie O'Donnell's missing daughter was 'of sound mind'
Police in the New York village where Rosie O'Donnell lives say her teenage daughter was "of sound mind" when she was found in New Jersey after a week of being incommunicado.
Sgt. Daniel Wilson of the South Nyack police says Chelsea O'Donnell left her home Aug. 11 and was reported missing to police Aug. 16. The village is about 25 miles north of New York City.
Law enforcement found Chelsea in Barnegat, at the house of a male she was "recently acquainted with" and say she willingly left with authorities.
O'Donnell says her daughter had not been taking needed medication. Her mother's spokeswoman says Chelsea suffers from mental illness.
Police says Chelsea declined medical attention.
