Police are investigating reports of human remains stolen from Mount Pleasant Cemetery. Officers responded to the cemetery Tuesday afternoon for reports of a burglary at one of the cemetery's mausoleums.

Human remains stolen from Newark cemetery
Police are investigating reports of human remains stolen from Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
Officers responded to the cemetery Tuesday afternoon for reports of a burglary at one of the cemetery's mausoleums.
Police say the mausoleum dates back to the 1940s and that someone forced open a casket and removed the remains.
There have been several other thefts at the cemetery since its opening, according to Newark police.
