Rosie O'Donnell's daughter found safe in Barnegat Township

Rosie O'Donnell's 17-year-old daughter has been found by police safe in a New Jersey home, hours after it was publicly revealed she had been missing for a week, according to South Nyack police.
The teen was found in Barnegat Township. Police say that they were contacted by New York authorities about a tip that she might be in their town. Officers searched some neighborhoods and came across Chelsea and some friends.
O'Donnell tweeted that her daughter was found and is in police custody. She thanked her supporters for all their help.
According to O'Donnell's spokeswoman, Chelsea left the family's home last Tuesday with her therapy dog and had not been seen since. She had not been taking her needed medication.
Police in Rockland County, New York, have been searching for her since Sunday. O'Donnell tweeted that her daughter may have been in New York City, which is about 25 miles south of her home in Nyack.
A South Nyack police officer tells News 12 New Jersey that officers were heading to New Jersey to bring Chelsea back home.
