Authorities seek 2 more suspects in teen's murder
Officials in Hudson County are hoping the public can help find two men wanted in connection with the death of a 16-year-old Jersey City boy.
The county prosecutor has issued arrest warrants for Dwayne Powell, 18, and Marquis Nicken, 21. They have both been charged in connection with the murder of Ronald Witherspoon Jr. last month. Both men are still at large.
Three other men have already been arrested and charged in connection with the teen's death.
On July 22, police found Witherspoon suffering from a gunshot wound to the head in the area of Monticello and Belmont avenues in Jersey City. Witherspoon died the next day at Jersey City Medical Center after his family decided to donate his organs.
Officials consider Powell and Nicken to be armed and dangerous. Anyone who may know their whereabouts is urged to contact the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office at 201-915-1345 or email hcpotips@hcpo.org.
