A 16-year-old Paterson teen died after being struck by a hit-and-run driver.
The teen was hit while riding his bike near the corner of Beech and Oak streets in Paterson Monday at around 7 p.m. He died at the hospital Tuesday morning.
Witnesses say the driver of a gray Volkswagen Jetta got out of his car, but then got back in and drove away.
Police say they have identified the driver of the car, but an arrest has not yet been made.
