Boil-water advisory lifted, water back in Cliffside Park

Residents now have their water back and the boil-water advisory is no longer in effect after a water main break in Bergen County.

The break occurred Wednesday on Anderson Avenue in Cliffside Park when a 600,000-pound crane was lowered to street level for repair.

Exactly what led to the break remains under review.

The county will use an independent expert to determine how the crane should be moved.
