A lawsuit against several allies of Gov. Chris Christie in connection with the George Washington Bridge lane closings has been revived.

A federal judge had dismissed the suit in June, saying the plaintiffs hadn't been specific enough in their claims, but gave them the opportunity to refile it.

The complaint filed Thursday doesn't name Christie but names his former deputy chief of staff and his top appointee to the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, among others. Both are also under federal indictment.

The suit accuses the defendants of racketeering, deprivation of constitutional rights, conspiracy and other violations.

Former Port Authority official David Wildstein pleaded guilty this year to helping orchestrate the 2013 traffic jams as payback against a mayor who wouldn't support Christie's re-election bid.
