NJ woman dies in crash after 'American Idol' audition
A Bloomfield woman returning home from an "American Idol" audition in Philadelphia died in a car crash on her way home.
The crash happened Sunday evening in Lower Makefield Township in Pennsylvania. Natasha Bellot, 20, was on her way home from the audition at Temple University's Liacouras Center.
Witnesses told police that the SUV carrying Bellot and her friends was "flying" at high speeds when it flipped and rolled over. Three passengers were ejected from the vehicle, and fire officials described some of the surviving victims' injuries as serious.
Police say Bellot still had her "American Idol" ticket in her pocket following the crash.
The other victims are expected to survive their injuries.
The Associated Press wire services contributed to this report.
