Teens accused of purposely running down geese
Two Woodbridge teens face animal abuse charges after a video posted online shows them allegedly running over a group of geese on purpose.
According to the SPCA, the incident happened on June 8. One of the boys supposedly lured a group of geese out onto New Dover Road in Woodbridge and then filmed the other teen purposely running the birds over. Laughter can be heard in the background of the video.
The video was posted online, and several outraged people called the authorities to report it. The car used to run down the geese was found in the high school parking lot and still had feathers stuck in the grill and bumper.
The teens now face animal cruelty charges. They will likely have to undergo some counseling due to their age.
