Boy dies after Jersey City hit-and-run

An 8-year-old boy struck in a hit-and-run Sunday night has died, and police are searching for the driver who hit him.



The crash happened at around 8 p.m. Sunday on Bostwick Avenue in Jersey City. The boy was taken to Jersey City Medical Center for treatment. He died at the hospital Monday morning.



Authorities say the driver that hit the boy did not stop.
