Two people are recovering from injuries after they were shot in Orange Wednesday afternoon.

The shots rang out just after 3:30 p.m. on Cleveland Street near Arden Street.

Police officers on scene tell News 12 New Jersey that two men were shot, but are expected to survive. Witnesses say they heard about a dozen shots and saw a group of men running from the scene.

One witness says she held the bloody shoulder of one of the victims until an ambulance arrived.

The shooting happened just several hours before a graduation ceremony was held in the same area.
