An alleged bank robber made a smooth getaway by hailing a taxi cab.
Newark police say the suspect robbed the TD Bank on Mulberry Street at around noon Friday.
They say he acted like he had a concealed weapon and demanded money. He then left the bank and hailed a cab.
The robbery was caught on surveillance camera. The suspect is an older African-American man and was seen wearing a green suit.
