Weather: Temps drop tonight, cloudy Thursday

Temperatures across New Jersey were on the cooler side this Wednesday, under mostly sunny skies.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says temperatures are expected to cool down as the evening goes on.

Overnight temperatures could get as cold as the low 40s or even high 30s. Clouds are expected to develop as well.

Thursday should stay mostly cloudy with scattered light rain. Temperatures are expected to remain only in the 50s.

The weather is expected to start to clear by Friday, with partly sunny skies and high temperatures in the mid-70s.

Memorial Day weekend is looking to be mostly sunny with highs into the 70s.
