Weather: Cloudy, light rain possible overnight

Cloudy skies are expected to remain in New Jersey for the rest of the day.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Justin Godynick says temperatures overnight should cool into the 50s and some small rain showers are possible.

Tuesday is expected to stay mostly cloudy with scattered rain events. Temperatures should get warmer than Monday and could get into the mid- to high-70s.

Skies are expected to clear by Wednesday with temperatures into the 70s.

The sun is expected to stay into the weekend, although Sunday could see clouds and possibly some rain.
