Charity football game closes Jersey Shore Fest

The Jersey Shore Festival ended Sunday with a charity flag football game.
Former professional football players took on first responders on the beach in Seaside Heights to raise money for scholarships for high school students.
The event was organized by Darian Barnes, a Toms River native and former NFL fullback. Lance Briggs, a seven-time Pro Bowler with the Chicago Bears, headlined the roster, which also featured Rutgers alum Kevin Malast.
The opposing team was comprised of members of the Toms River police and fire departments.
