Weather: Temps cool overnight, mostly sunny Wednesday

New Jersey experienced warmer temperatures than normal for this time of year

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says parts of the state saw temperatures into the high 80s and even into the 90s.

The skies should stay clear and temperatures are expected to cool down for the overnight hours.

Wednesday should see a mix of sun and clouds, with a strong breeze. Temperatures are expected to be much cooler at around 70 degrees. Temperatures could cool even more for the overnight hours and could hit the high 40s.

Thursday is expected to have sunny skies with highs slightly above 70 degrees.
