ATM skimmer found in Brick bank

Brick Township police say a skimming device was found inside an ATM at the Ocean First Bank on Brick Boulevard.

The device was supposedly placed on the ATM Saturday sometime between 2 p.m. and 8 p.m. Criminals use such devices to steal customers' bank account information.

Bank officials say they are working to identify customers who may have been affected by the breach.

Most of the transactions from victims' accounts have occurred in the New York City area, according to police.
