Weather: Temps drop, clouds develop

The weather across New Jersey was all over the map this Thursday, with various areas seeing a wide variety of conditions.

News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist Dave Curren says storm systems west and south of the state could bring rain and clouds to New Jersey over the next few days.

The clouds are expected to stick around through the overnight hours, with the possibility of temperatures dropping to the mid-40s.

Skies Friday should be mostly cloudy with winds around 10 to 15 mph. High temperatures for the day are expected to top out at 57 degrees.

Weather for the weekend should be a bit better. Saturday is expected to have a mix of sun and clouds with high temperatures near 68 degrees.

Sunday should be the better day with mostly sunny skies and high temperatures near 75 degrees.

Clouds are expected to return early next week.
