The Monmouth County SPCA held its 21st annual Dog Walk Saturday in Lincroft.
The event was held on the campus of Brookdale Community College. It was attended by about 2,000 people and an estimated 500 to 600 dogs.
The Dog Walk is one of the organization's largest fundraisers of the year. SPCA officials say they expect it will bring in about $140,000.
CEO Jerry Rosenthal says the Monmouth County SPCA will complete more than 3,100 adoptions this year.
The organization also has two new locations in Freehold and Middletown. Its headquarters is in Eatontown.
