(AP) -- A youth minister at a central New Jersey church has been charged with sexually assaulting two teenage girls in separate incidents.
Middlesex County prosecutors announced Wednesday that 48-year-old Shawn Butler, of Hillsborough, was arrested Friday at a relative's home in Millsboro, Delaware. He was freed after posting $50,000 bail and is scheduled to surrender to authorities in New Jersey on May 1.
Butler faces a sexual assault count and two counts each of criminal sexual contact and child endangerment. His bail in New Jersey has been set at $300,000.
Butler was a youth minister at the Eternal Life Christian Center in Franklin Township and served on the church's executive board at the time the alleged incidents occurred.
A telephone number for Butler could not be located Wednesday night.
