Sandy Hook Ride to Washington makes stop in NJ

A rally on wheels made its way through New Jersey Sunday.

The Sandy Hook Ride on Washington made a stop in Montclair and then in Morristown.

The 26 riders of Team 26, which they say represents the number of people killed during the elementary school massacre in 2012, hope to honor all victims of gun violence, support their families and push for stronger gun control laws.

The team kicked off its ride Saturday in Newtown. They will ride 400 miles in four days and hope to get to Washington, D.C. by Tuesday.
