Authorities are searching for a suspect who robbed a jewelry store at gunpoint.

Paramus police say a man walked into the Kay Jewelers on Route 4 Thursday afternoon and asked to see a few Rolex watches. He then pulled out a gun and grabbed three watches, valued at more than $30,000. He then ran from the store.

The suspect led police on a chase through Bergen County before getting away. He's described as a black man standing about 6 feet tall, and he was driving a white Mercedes SUV.
