New Jersey will see snow for the official start of spring on Friday.
A winter weather advisory is in effect for most of the state from 6 a.m. Friday until 2 a.m. Saturday. The heavy, wet snow is expected to start falling Friday morning and will accumulate as the day goes on.
While southern areas of New Jersey could see as little as 1 inch to 2 inches of snow, some parts of the state could see 4 inches to 6 inches of snow.
Friday's high is expected to be around 33 degrees; the low is expected to be around 32 degrees.
The weather warms up Saturday with a high of 49 degrees, but the low will be around 27 degrees. Skies will be clear on Saturday.
