Severe thunderstorms are rocking parts of the Garden State this evening.
News 12 New Jersey Meteorologist SallyAnn Mosey says spotty showers and thunderstorms are bringing severe storms and flash flood warnings to many parts of the state. Those storms are steadily moving toward the east.
Evening showers should leave behind some cooler temperatures, making tonight not nearly as humid as what we experienced last night.
The storms are expected to linger through the early evening hours, but should clear out late tonight.
