Community rallies behind Par-Troy East in World Series quest

The success of the Parsippany Troy Hills Little League team has captured the heart of the Garden State, but that success comes with a price tag.
Between hotel costs, food and gas, the trip to the World Series has been a costly one for parents.
Local businesses and fans, however, have teamed up to support the parents as they send the team all the way to the World Series.
Sporting goods store Modell's is selling T-shirts and donating the proceeds to the team. Aristocrat Limousine and Bus offered a deep discount to shuttle fans to the game today. Class Act Embroidery stitched the team's logo onto hats and is donating all the proceeds from hat sales straight to the parents.
So far, about $12,000 has been raised for the team.
