Trenton police halt series of illegal gun sales

State authorities say eight Trenton men are facing gun trafficking charges stemming from illegal gun sales that occurred near two local funeral homes.
Police seized 16 weapons, including five assault rifles, five handguns, three shotguns and three rifles.
All of the seized weapons were loaded or included ammunition.
Police say the eight accused gun salesmen weren't a part of an organized group. Each of them sold guns independently to undercover detectives.
The accused men are in jail and being held on $100,000 cash bail each.
