Increased police presence at NJ Transit terminals, stops

NJ Transit riders will soon see an increase in police presence on their daily travels.
The beefed up police presence is part of a nationwide counterterrorism and criminal deterrence effort called BUSSAFE.
The BUSSAFE initiative will bring transit police to more terminals and garages than usual.
Police across the Garden State will make random baggage inspections at the terminals and in boarding locations frequented by an exceptionally high number of passengers.
