Red Cross volunteers from Princeton pitch in along Gulf Coast
Tropical Storm Isaac is expected to leave behind widespread wind and flood damage along the Gulf Coast.
As many residents there have evacuated, some New Jersey residents are on their way into the storm area to help out.
Thirty Red Cross volunteers from Princeton have been deployed as disaster workers. Some are already in Florida, while others are on their way to Louisiana and Mississippi.
One woman who volunteered during Katrina says it's a tough job and it can be scary heading there and not knowing what to expect.
But Joan Smith says it's worth it when she sees the look on the faces of those she is helping.
