New Brunswick grandmother attacked in violent home invasion
New Brunswick police are searching for the suspects who beat and stole from a grandmother in a violent home invasion.
Beverly Marshall says it was just hours into the new year when she was awakened by the sound of smashed glass and footsteps running up the stairs to her bedroom. She says she was confronted by three young robbers, who began punching her while demanding cash and jewelry.
Marshall says the men made off with a small amount of cash and a pair of earrings.
Officials say it's possible the suspects may have been caught on one of several surveillance cameras outside her apartment.
Anyone with information is asked to call New Brunswick police at 732-745-5200.
