Paramus H.S. student dies after collapsing in class

A Paramus High School student died yesterday after collapsing in class, school officials said.
Officials said Eric Micheo was in Social Studies class when he asked the teacher to go to the nurse. The 18-year-old student then collapsed in the teacher's arms.
A school nurse and a trained faculty member administered CPR on the student until emergency responders arrived, school officials said today. An ambulance transported the student to a nearby hospital, where he later died.
A crisis response team was available to speak with students, faculty and staff today at the high school.
