Report: FL crash claims life of former Haworth fire chief, others

According to TCPalm.com, a car accident in Jupiter, Florida has claimed the life of former Haworth Fire Chief Albert Koeniges, 80.

The report says that a Honda CRV veered off I-95 in Jupiter and into a drainage ditch full of highway runoff water. Also in the car were Ann T. Lane, 75, of Wanaque, and Lore T. Brunetti, 73, of Carmel, N.Y.

The accident occurred at around 2 p.m. Sunday and that all three people were in cardiac arrest when they were pulled from the car, said Capt. Don DeLucia, a spokesman for Palm Beach County Fire Rescue.
