Gov. Christie set to deliver final budget proposal at the statehouse

Gov. Chris Christie will be delivering his budget proposal for the next year at the statehouse today at 2 p.m.

This will be the governor's final budget address for the state.

Christie is expected to outline his funding sources for new anti-drug initiatives.

He may renew the push for his education funding plan he calls the Fairness Formula, which centers on a plan of equal funding for every student in the state regardless of district.

The governor is also expected to propose making a $2.5 billion contribution to the state's pension system. That would be the biggest payment in state history.
