Over 100 firefighters respond to large fire at Marcal Paper in Elmwood Park

It took over 100 firefighters from 20 different fire companies to battle a large fire at the Marcal Paper warehouse in Elmwood Park, according to the town's mayor.



The fire in the warehouse at 35 Market St. started around 5 p.m. Monday.



Witnesses say smoke could be seen shooting out of the roof of the building as firefighters made their way inside.



No one was hurt during the fire. The cause is under investigation.



Marcal Paper makes products like paper towels, napkins and toilet paper.
