3 officers injured in crash following pursuit in Newark

Three police officers have been released from the hospital following an early morning pursuit in Newark.



Officials say Newark police, along with New Jersey State Troopers and a police helicopter, were pursuing the suspects when their car slammed into a Newark police cruiser on South Orange Avenue.



Police say at least four people have been arrested in connection to the incident, and a gun was recovered at the scene.



One officer suffered facial injuries.
