Couple married 30 years goes sledding downhill at Monmouth Battlefield State Park in Manalapan

A scenic and historic battlefield in Manalapan was perfect for some pre-Valentine's Day romance for a couple from Jackson.

Barbara and Ron Amrhein have been married 30 years, and their romance is alive and well.

Ron, who will soon turn 71, says they definitely don't hibernate come winter time. So he pulled out his old, antique sled and went down the hill at Monmouth Battlefield State Park

"This is an antique sled that I bought at an antique shop and I put our names on it; my wife's and mine, and we're just going back in time a little bit today, down in the sled," says Ron Amrhein.

There is a heart carved into the sled, and they took several rides down the hill, individually and together.
