Airlines at Newark airport make preparations for expected winter storm Thursday

Several airlines at Newark Liberty International Airport are preparing for Thursday's snow and the impact it could have on travel around the northeast.

Airlines could see flight cancellations and delays due to the storm.

Delta says customers can make a one-time change to tickets without fee for anyone traveling tomorrow.

If you wish to cancel your trip as a result of a flight cancellation or significant delay of 90 minutes or more, you are entitled to a refund for the unused portion of your ticket.

For those traveling tomorrow and Friday, United is issuing travel waivers to allow passengers to take alternate flights without paying a change fee.

American is allowing travelers to change their trips with no change fee.

JetBlue will waive change and cancellation fees, in addition to fare differences, for customers planning to travel tomorrow.

Customers with canceled flights may opt for a refund.
