Super Bowl snacks: Pigskin Wings

Pigskin wings at The Office Tavern Grill on 61 Union Pl in Summit.



 



PIGSKIN WINGS - CHEF KEVIN FELICE, THE OFFICE TAVERN GRILL



(Feeds 5-7 people)



INGREDIENTS




  • 5 pounds of wings

  • 25 pieces of bacon

  • favorite hot sauce 4 cups

  • 1/2 cup butter

  • bleu cheese dressing

  • celery




METHOD

Marinate chicken wings in 2 cups of your favorite hot sauce for 24 hours

Take the bacon and cut each piece in half

Wrap the bacon around the wings ensuring to pinch together the end

Take an 8 inch skewer through the seem of the bacon skewer the chicken together



Skewer trying to keep flat wings together - do the same with the drumsticks

Bake at 350 for 25 minutes on a sheet tray.



Heat up the remaining hot sauce with the butter and toss skewers in the sauce.



Serve with a side of bleu cheese dressing and celery.
