Millions of patio chairs at Home Depot recalled due to defect that causes base of chair to break

Millions of patio chairs sold only at Home Depot are being recalled due to a defect that causes the base of the chair to break.



The affected brands include Hampton Bay Anselmo, Calabria, Dana Point, as well as Martha Stewart Living branded Cardona, Grand Bank and Wellington swivel patio chairs.



The chairs are made of aluminum and steel with a round swivel base and armrests.



The chairs were sold between January 2007 and February 2016.



So far, there have been more than 600 reports of breakage resulting in falls or injury.
