Prosecutor: Queens juvenile posed as Freehold student to post threats

New Jersey police arrested a student from Queens Sunday who allegedly posted threats on Facebook posing as a student at Freehold Township High School.

The Monmouth County prosecutor says the threats were a hoax and that there was no threat to the safety of the students in Freehold.

The Queens resident supposedly used a fake Facebook profile posting as someone from Freehold Township who attended the high school.

The student was arrested following an investigation by the Freehold Township police, county prosecutor and NYPD.
